Ephesians 6:11-13

"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. So put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."

this post has been a work in progress. i am more than ever convinced that the enemy is at work and working harder than we can comprehend. he is trying to deter us from walking the narrow road that leads to life. trying to get us so discouraged that it takes every ounce of effort we have left to cry out to God for help. let me say this: satan will lose. all the effort he puts forth to destroy the lives of God's children will end and he will gain nothing. absolutely nothing. God wins. God will reign forever. how awesome is that? every attack of the enemy will come against God's people who are fulfilling His calling on their life. this 21 days of prayer and fasting has been so amazing. at the same time, the enemy is fighting. but i find this so encouraging. there is such peace to know that you are seeking God and really stepping out in faith as to what He has called you to do. we should all be encouraged when satan tries to get us off track. i think about all the major prophets in the Bible and the trials and tribulations they went through because they were following the Lord and how joyful they still were! oh, how awesome it would be if we could all find joy in suffering and encouragement in persecution. God is good. He has a plan. let us not forget this. put on the armor of God. fight the battle that is going on for your soul. don't give up. press on.
