Random

I have been told numerous times over the break that I am a very random person. It may be because I'm a little ADD so I tend to sometimes think something completely different then what the conversation is about, then I attempt to somehow incorporate it into the conversation which usually results in someone telling me that what I just said was random. If you followed that, then props to you. Last night I was thinking about the randomness of my life and so I have decided to give you all some random fun facts about myself:

1. I have to feel clean before I get into bed. This means that sometimes I will jump in the shower just to get in bed.

2. I love love love a no-water chai latte from Starbucks.

3. Even though I am very organized, I lose my phone and keys all the time. Really.

4. I have two planners: the one that I keep at school (which is detailed down to the times that I do things), and then there is one I keep in my purse that's not quite as detailed.

5. I never buy anything full price...ever...and I love coupons.

6. I am not good with electronics (IPODS, laptops, tvs, etc).

7. I love sweet tea and Dr. Pepper.

8. I hardly ever drink water, although I have been making an effort lately.

9. I love to walk my dogs and I try to do so every day.

10. I like to sleep with a fan blowing on my face and I always wear socks to bed, but then take them off sometime during the night (this means that if you pulled back my sheets you would find at least two pair of socks lying around).

11. I used to play handbells at church when I was in middle school and high school.

12. I took piano when I was little but quit after two years. I wish I had kept it up because I love the piano.

13. I get really nervous when speaking in front of people...it's amazing that I am a teacher and speaking is what I do for a living every day.

14. I don't like to fly but I really want to ride in a hot air balloon one day.

15. I sang in the worship band at my church in college and I'm hoping to get back into it soon.

16. I like to cook.

17. I will adopt children one day.

18. I used to be legally blind. I had lasik eye surgery May 2006 and have had perfect vision since.

19. I get excited when I buy something that helps me organize. For instance, I found an ornament organizer and it made my day!

20. I cannot, for the life of me, stay awake during movies at night. I was always the first one asleep at slumber parties when I was younger and those days haven't changed.

21. I don't watch any scary movies.....I'm talking about remotely suspenseful.

22. I love nicknames....pretty much everyone I am close to has some sort of nickname.

23. I love my job.

24. I have two dogs: Coda-Catherine (boxer/bulldog mix) and Lilah-Ann (boxer). They have double-names because they are extremely masculine-looking.

25. Last year, Coda-Catherine jumped out of my car when I was going about 35 mph....I thought I was going to have a dead dog, but she is fine....just a dumb mistake, right?

26. I really like getting flowers.....any kind. My favorite are yellow roses or bright colored daisies.

27. I like to think that I give good gifts. I love to surprise people and I really love to see their reaction after receiving something they have wanted but had no idea they were going to get. Love it!

28. I pronounce several words wrong or I mix up the order of the words. Example: clearance (I pronounce it clarance) and I know that what I say is wrong but I still don't change it. There are many more but I won't go into it!
