Snow?

What a cool weekend! And yes, I just said "cool." Of course, it was Valentine's Day weekend (and I sure enjoyed my day with one of my best friends, Jen - thanks for being my Valentine!), but Birmingham also experienced SNOW! When I heard the forecast I thought it might flurry for 30 minutes. Then, during 3rd period on Friday my kids asked if we could open the blinds and it was coming down pretty hard. I'm not going to lie, I got about as excited as my kids :) Of course, next they came over the intercom and announced we were closing at 11:50 and I could have done a dance I was so excited!! I wish it would snow like that at least once a year..wouldn't that be great? Saturday I went to the Alabama/Arkansas basketball game in Tuscaloosa with my dad and my brother and we had so much fun! Since these are my last few weekends with Jay, we have been trying to spend more time together. I can't believe he is leaving so soon!!! Then Sunday I went to church and lunch with Jen. I love me some Hacienda! OH, and I got a dozen yellow roses from two of my students....so sweet!!!! So I ended up getting flowers on Valentine's after all :)

Once I get home I will add some pictures....I know Mandy and Alley will be so proud :)
